Criminal defense: 2 in California suspected of attempted murder

Often, people in California find themselves in predicaments in which they do not know how to respond. For example, when involved in a confrontation with strangers, a person could ultimately begin to fear for his or her safety, prompting the individual to react in a way that would safeguard personal safety. Unfortunately, the events leading up to an alleged stabbing are unclear. Nevertheless, two men are likely considering their criminal defense.

The incident that led to the arrests of the men happened during the early morning hours of a day in October. According to reports, a 17-year-old and two friends were apparently standing near a street when they were approached by two men. Police say that some sort of argument ensued, and the teenager and his friends were stabbed.

The 17-year-old died the day after the incident while the two other alleged victims are recovering. The two men believed to have been involved have since been arrested, suspected of murder and attempted murder, and are being held in lieu of bail that was set as several million dollars for each man. One of the men also faces drug charges. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them.

Many of the details regarding the fatal encounter are unclear. Unfortunately, the two men arrested in connection to the incident face serious allegations. To help them as the investigation progresses, each California man may choose to hire an experienced criminal defense attorney to navigate through the criminal justice process.
