Drunk driving believed to be factor in California crash

Car accidents happen at various times of the day for a variety of different reasons. Regardless of this, it may be easy to make assumptions about the cause of an accident that happens under certain circumstances. Unfortunately, a man in California has recently been accused of drunk driving after he was allegedly involved in a fiery crash.

Police reportedly responded to the scene of an accident that happened one night on a day in mid-January. According to reports, a vehicle slowed to make a turn. The driver of the car behind the slowing vehicle allegedly failed to slow, resulting in a collision.

The second vehicle reportedly caught on fire and "was a complete burn." The cause of the fire is unknown, However, police claim that its driver was under the influence of alcohol. According to reports, the driver's blood alcohol content was significantly over the legal limit. No one was injured in the collision.

Unfortunately, certain measures used to determine blood alcohol content are fallible. They are subject to human error and can result in a false positive. As such, those accused of drunk driving in California often want an experienced criminal defense attorney on their side to carefully examine all of the evidence against them. Such a professional can examine any questionable evidence and ensure that their clients are fully informed about their options. Often such a professional can provide peace of mind for those who are facing decisions that will likely have a significant impact on their rest of their lives.
